Russell Howard’s Good News Returns to BBC Three
Russell Howard’s Good News gets ready to make a welcome return to TV screens on Thursday April 25. Howard’s show, recently voted the ‘Best Ever BBC Three Show’ by Digital Spy users, beating the likes of Gavin and Stacey and Little Britain, constantly brings in audiences of over a million each week and more often than not is one of the most watched shows on BBC iPlayer.
Russell is all set to provide viewers once again with his astute view of current global affairs with his sui generis angle on the week’s news gathered from more than 60 international news channels, 140 different newspapers from around the globe and over a thousand news videos. As always, no stone will be left unturned as the Good News Team go in search of the weirdest and most sublime news scoops. The habitual mystery guest spot for people who have heavily featured in the news each week will remain in place. Russell will be asking member of the general public to draft their very own Good News front page with their own bizarre findings in regular feature ‘Headliners’.
The show is filmed before a live studio audience whilst viewers sat at home on the sofa can define the shape of the show by sending in their own news stories to the Twitter account @bbcgoodnews. Roving reporters start scouring the tabloids for news stories you’d like to send in as Russell Howard’s Good News returns on April 25.
