Retweet After Me – 25/03/2013

Twitter is so addictive kids are starting to drop out of school to focus on it apparently. Lucky for us that means more funny tweets to choose from.

In the news this weekend, BBC Television Centre is closing its doors after all of 53 years, to be turned into a hotel, flats, a cinema and office space. Tweeps are going to miss the place by the sounds of it, or are they?

Finally, it’s been snowing again and Twitter has become the more than unseful weather app. Despite the bad weather @ParkBench has great tip get your car started, providing your partner is that way inclined of course.

Retweet After Me: No More Flogging a Dead Horse

We’ve included on eabout a meteor and another about food ingredients but apart from we’ve gone out of our way to follow the completely random approach.

Retweet After Me – The Pope Can’t Cope

February 11, 2013 |

It’s time for our favourite tweets of the weekend which were pretty much jam-packed full of BAFTA and novel new horsemeat tweets. Normally we wouldn’t include Monday tweets but what with Ben giving up his bad habit at the end of the month we had to include a few #pope tweets. How happy must Tesco and Findus be today? Let tomorrow be renamed crispy pancake day!

Retweet After Me – 21/01/13

January 21, 2013 |

Twitter has more than championed the British fascination with the weather as #snow dominated all last week and it looks set to do the same all over again this week. What else trended this week? Well, very few things to tell the truth as Twitter has basically been host to a plethora of comments covering #horsegate and #LanceArmstrong. It took none other than Sir Jimmy Savile to change Twitter’s tone thanks to the BBC airing a “gaffe” repeat of a 2001 episode of The Tweenies with one of the characters dressed as disgraced TV presenter Jimmy Savile.
